Meet Our Staff

Grace Armstrong, CEO

Grace has been an Executive Director in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years. After obtaining her BA degree in Education from the University of South Florida, Grace worked with the Florida State Department of Children and Families as manager of contracts with various not for profit organizations.  Subsequently, Grace was the Executive Director for two nonprofit organizations.  During her tenure she more than doubled the size of both organizations, expanded the boards, raised money for two buildings, and increased the financial viability of the agencies.

Grace is a graduate of the Eckerd Leadership Development Program, the Charitable Giving Institute, and the Easter Seals Academy for Advancement. Grace also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Education from Board Source.

Grace’s passion and expertise is in mentoring, coaching, and educating staff, volunteers, and board members to help them and their organizations fulfill their personal and organizational missions with excellence.  She is delighted to work for the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay and utilize her skills and experience on behalf of the community.

Ashley Pero, Program Manager 

 

Ashley has worked in marketing and advertising the last five years, helping local and national companies best promote their goods and services to consumers.  She received her Bachelor's Degree in both Marketing and Mass Communication in December 2007 from the University of South Florida. Ashley has volunteered with numerous organizations including North Lakeland Youth Soccer, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Suncoast Harvest Food Bank.

Lorraine Faithful, Operations Manager

Lorraine holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, and Certification in Special Education from Salem State University, Salem, MA. She received a Certificate of Completion in University of Hawaii's prestigious Art of Leadership Program. From 2001 to 2006, she served as executive director of Sisters Offering Support, a nonprofit organization in Honolulu, Hawaii that assists victims of exploitation.

Lorraine is active in the community through volunteering. She served as the Treasurer on the board of directors for a nonprofit organization that provides support to area nonprofits providing youth services, and as the Publicity Director on the board of Professional Women's Network.
