Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay

Outcomes

The Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay teaches nonprofits the skills to run their businesses. We do this primarily through classroom training. In 2010, training was provided to 1,230 individuals representing 269 nonprofit organizations in the Tampa Bay area.

In their post-program evaluations, the 1,230 individuals report the following:

  • 93% report that they increased their knowledge, understanding, or skill level in the subject matter taught.
  • 90% report that they can and will use the information learned in the program(s) to increase the efficiency and operation of their agency
  • 94% report that they received great value relative to the cost and the time they invested to attend the program(s)

In addition to the broad array of educational programs offered by NLCTB, we also provide resources in all areas of nonprofit operations via our website on the Nonprofit Source tab. In 2010, there were 52,000 visitors to our website.

NLCTB participates in the Results Based Accountability model of managing outcomes. Since there are many factors that result in helping a nonprofit organization become more effective, NLCTB understands that our piece in this process is to provide the education, resources, and tools that facilitate the desired outcome of an effective, adaptable, and impactful nonprofit organization. NLCTB is not the only factor in creating a strong nonprofit; therefore, our outcomes are based on the quality and quantity of the programs and resources we offer to the nonprofit sector.
