Have you ever had to explain to your boss and/or board how your “Likes” and “Engagement” are impacting donations? Ever had to justify your social media activity and explain how your “reach” will someday translate to gifts? Enough already with the tech speak and nebulous numbers. In this workshop, we will learn how three goals for your digital strategy can increase donations, increase volunteers, and give you actual bottom line numbers that are measurable and easy to communicate to your board and boss.

After this half-day class, you will:

  • know the 3 goals you want to pursue with your digital strategy and why.
  • understand the concept of permission and how it applies to fundraising and digital marketing.
  • know how to calculate the ROI of your digital strategy.

Fundraisers, social media mangers, marketing and communications staff, executive leadership, and program staff can all serve as brand ambassadors for your nonprofit and will benefit from this class, which will clarify how a strong digital strategy and clear metrics will support your fundraising efforts.

Joining us for this class is special guest trainer, Jeff Stanger. Jeff serves as the Education Resources Manager for CFRE International He also serves on the faculty of The Fund Raising School at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University and is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator on a variety of fundraising topics including social media, annual campaigns, and grant writing.  He is also an author and has contributed chapters to Achieving Excellence in FundraisingVolumes III and IV. Prior to joining CFRE International, Jeff served as Development Director for The Salvation Army of Indiana for six years.  He has over 18 years of fundraising experience.
